America's Best Nut Company only processes peanuts so there is no opportunity in our facility for cross-contact with tree nuts.
Important General Information and FAQs
North Carolina requires that a sales tax of 2% be charged for the peanut products and their shipping on all in-state orders.
All prices are subject to change without notice. All sales are in US dollars. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Your order is charged when received.
Discounts are only available at the time of purchase. Once your order has been processed we cannot reimburse you for the discount amount. Discount offers may not be combined.
At your instruction, we include cards in your gift packages with your personalized message. No sales or pricing information is included with your gift.
For client gifts, we offer personalized message labels for the can tops. These messages may feature a holiday greeting with staff names, company logo, etc. We will purchase the labels for you or apply labels furnished by you. As long as there are peanuts in the can your client is reminded that the gift is from you. Orders should be placed at least a month in advance of the shipping date to assure desired delivery.
Vacuum-packed tins have a shelf life of up to a year, however, we recommend ordering amounts to be consumed more quickly. To maintain freshness, after opening the store tightly closed in the refrigerator. For next enjoyment, remove from refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature.
Raw peanuts should be stored in a cool dry place. For short-term storage (a few days), keep at or below 60 degrees F. For extended storage keep at 40 degrees F. or below (Peanuts stay fresh indefinitely stored in a tightly closed container in the freezer.) As with many agricultural products, it is recommended that raw peanuts be cooked before consumption.
All peanut orders are shipped from our facility in North Carolina, Monday through Friday. We do not ship Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. Shipping is via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. We ship to all the contiguous States, Alaska and Hawaii, and APO addresses. Call 888.644.0900 to place orders to Canada. (We do not ship to other foreign countries).
To avoid re-shipping costs and delayed delivery be sure shipping addresses are correct, including any apartment, building, suite, room, floor, and/or highway numbers. Carriers charge for incorrect or incomplete addresses even though the package is delivered. When not deliverable, return charges are incurred and must be assumed by the customer.
All shipments are sent ground or priority mail unless the expedited shipment is specified. If an email is provided, a confirmation will be sent when shipped. Expedited orders received after 2 PM EST will ship the next business day from receipt of your order unless a later date is specified.
To estimate delivery time, see the chart below for the number of UPS delivery days for ground shipments to States in the US. USPS priority shipments usually require at least 3 days. (Allow one or two additional days for processing and handling—more may be necessary during busy holiday times.)
